June, June, June...

So much has happened this month! I feel like we've managed to pack a whole years worth of events into one month. Here's what we've been up to:

Halle DeMill
Jessica and Shane welcomed cute Halle DeMill into the world on June 7, 2012. You can read more about it here on Jessica's blog.  I know I may be little biased because I'm the proud Aunt and all...but she seriously is one freaking cute baby. Some come out all alien-looking and all, but not Halle. She's just been cute from the get-go. So cute I can't stop taking pictures of her, exhibit A:

Just you WAIT until we have her birth announcements done so you can see her cute Newborn pictures. Miss Halle is gonna get lots of love from this favorite aunt of hers.

Willard Peak Riding

In our spare time Mark and I decided we should probably get our money's worth out of my bike so we've tried to go on a few rides here and there. One night we rode up Willard Peak to test out the trails. There was still too much snow to get all the way up to the top, but we got a good chunk of the way up.  We had a spectacular view of Willard Bay and the Ogden valley.

Bountiful Skyline Trail Riding

We also managed to make it out to ride the Bountiful "B" trail. Pretty sure it's now one of my favorites! Not only because it's super easy (it's a double wide dirt road the whole way up), but because the views are spectacular. At the top of Bountiful peak you can see all the way into Park City/Morgan/Davis County at once. Highly recommend taking a drive up the Skyline Trail!

Work Trip - Dana Point, CA

I was lucky enough to get to go to a work conference in Dana Point, CA just a couple weeks ago. What a cute town! We stayed at the Laguna Cliffs Resort which is an absolute dream, I felt so spoiled.

I felt real cool when I got to sit in The Biebs car from his music video "Girlfriend". I'll never let you go Beibs...never let you go.

We got to spend an afternoon at the beach. I did some Kayaking and enjoyed watching the surfers surf. And then I day-dreamed about owning of the multi-million dollar houses up on the cliff overlooking the beach.

I know it might not look like it...but it wasn't all play. We did, believe it or not, actually attend several insightful seminars for work and learned alot of good DealerSocket tips and tricks. The last night they threw a Casino themed dinner in which we all got fake DealerSocket money and gambled the night away for Charity. Whatever the house won was donated to a cause, whatever we won we got to put towards a raffle/auction. One of my guilty pleasures is a good game of Craps, so needless to say we rocked the night away! And here is where I say how much I love my job and I am so glad I get to work for such an awesome company like Ken Garff. This girl is blessed!
